The UK is packed with lots of amazing destinations that allow you to enjoy the great outdoors. Whether you want to enjoy a dog-friendly beach holiday or prefer a more active holiday with lots of hiking and outdoor activities, we’ve got you covered. Check out our top pooch friendly destinations for some inspiration!


1) Cornwall


Cornwall is one of England’s most popular holiday destinations and it’s clear why! With lots of sandy beaches, scenic footpaths that cover the coast and lots of charming towns and villages to discover, Cornwall makes the perfect staycation destination.

If you are looking for places to discover within Cornwall, why not visit Truro which is home to a beautiful cathedral and makes a wonderful day out. In addition to Truro, make sure to visit the Sandymouth beach in Cornwall which is a two mile long National Trust Beach which welcomes dogs all year round.

2) Norfolk

3) The Lake District

4) Devon


Devon is situated in South West England and is a firm favourite for those looking for a dog-friendly getaway in the UK. The Peak District has sweeping valleys, amazing waterfalls and scenic countryside with lots of small villages to explore. With many dog-friendly countryside pubs in the Peak District, it’s perfect for a delicious lunch or a refreshing drink after a day of exploring.

While in the Peak District, head to Chatsworth House to stroll along the grounds. With lots of great walking routes, the Peak District is the perfect holiday to keep you and your pooch active while admiring lovely scenery.
